Overview
DU progressive feeder, also often referred to as a progressive divider or progressive metering valve, is a crucial core component in centralized lubrication systems. With its unique progressive working principle, it ensures that lubricant (whether grease or oil) is delivered precisely, continuously, and sequentially to every single lubrication point.

The working principle of a progressive feeder is its most fundamental characteristic and the origin of its name. It consists of a series of precisely fitted pistons that move in an interdependent, successive, and progressive manner. This “progressive” characteristic means that the entire divider will not complete a full cycle unless all pistons have completed their respective strokes and delivered lubricant to their corresponding lubrication points. If any single lubrication point becomes blocked, preventing its corresponding piston from moving, the entire progressive feeder will stop functioning, thereby emitting a blockage signal or alarm, alerting the user to inspect it.
